Aloha to Everyone. Welcome to the Bangkok, Thailand Global Pau Hana Website. My name is Jonathan McKinnon. I am a long time resident of Hawaii and many other cities, but my heart belongs to Hawaii.

If you live in Thailand or the surrounding area, please contact me. It will be fun to make a new network of friends from Hawaii here in South East Asia.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Deb Aoki
Deb was one of the first kamaaina to join this Global Pau Hana community site in 2004. She was born, raised, went to Roosevelt, then UH. Now lives in the SF Bay Area, where she continues to submit her weekly comic strip to The Honolulu Advertiser. Besides her comics and occasional fine art works, Deb is currently the Senior Content Strategist for eBay. She also has published two books: Slice O Life and University of Diverse City. In addition to living in the Bay Area, she has also lived in Seattle, LA, NYC and SF, and can probably tell you where the plate lunch places are in every one of those cities. Her hometown favorites are the chicken katsu plate with extra chow fun from Graces Inn and the Zippys ZipPac.

A likely fix is to download, install and use Firefox. You can download for free at www.mozilla.org

The Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Workforce Development Program at UH-Manoa needs your help.

We are currently trying to find out how well science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) school programs and activities have prepared Hawaii's students for careers in these fields, and discover what happens to former participants after they enter the workforce. It is our hope that this information will help future Hawaii students develop skills for the 21st century workforce.

If you attended any school in Hawaii--any grade between kindergarten and graduate school--we would greatly appreciate it if you would take our survey, available as a Facebook application here: http://apps.facebook.com/stem_survey.

Mahalo for your time.
